On some systems, it is possible that the MLDeigner graphical interface can't be executed. Perhaps the following error message will be displayed when starting the setup:

Error: ishield: error while loading shared libraires: libXft.so.1: cannot open shared libraries. No such file or directory.

Then please use the commandline installation script. Change to the "system" directory and execute the quickinstall script ( ./installquick )
